● Our Work
Research & Education
ACMER Foundation supports research and educational initiatives that deepen public understanding of U.S. policy toward the Middle East and North Africa — its human costs, strategic tradeoffs, and the alternatives. Our work brings research, analysis, and community perspectives to bear on some of the most consequential foreign policy questions of our time.
Leadership Development
ACMER Foundation prepares the next generation of Arab, MENA, and Muslim American policy advocates. Through paid fellowships and internships, participants gain hands-on experience working on Capitol Hill and with leading advocacy organizations, building the relationships, skills, and institutional knowledge needed to shape the policies that matter most to their communities.
Community Support
Arab, Muslim, and MENA American advocates and leaders face an increasingly hostile environment — coordinated attacks, professional retaliation, and threats designed to silence their voices. ACMER Foundation provides direct, confidential support to individuals navigating these challenges.
● Our Mission & Philosophy
Our Principles
Community-Centered
We build from the community up, supporting advocates, leaders, and organizations who are shaping the future of U.S.-MENA policy.
Education as Power
Informed publics and informed policymakers is the foundation of meaningful change. We invest in both.
Long-Term Thinking
Movements are built over years, not news cycles. We invest in people, institutions, and infrastructure for the long haul.
Dignity and Safety
Advocacy shouldn’t come at the cost of your safety, career, or peace of mind. We take seriously the risks that come with this work and are here to help carry them.
